David McCormack – PgDip, BA (Hons), CQSW, RGN. I first visited the Normandy battelfields in the late 1980s. Since then, I have made several more visits to the Normandy and Brittany coast as I am particularly interested in naval/amphibious warfare. In 2009, I graduated from Salford University with a first class degree in Military History.
My specialist subjects were naval warfare and armoured warfare. From 2005-09, I produced a series of twelve articles which were published in the Armourer Magazine. The bulk of these articles were based around a series entitled Japan at War 1931-45. When not involved with Leger, I work as a private history tutor and also undertake occassional work as a researcher with the Museum of the Manchester Regiment.
